Fredrick John Schell

Frederick John Schell (Sonny) at the age of 75 passed peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Monday February 4^th, 2019 with family by his side.

Born August 27, 1943 in Collingwood Fred resided in Barrie and spent his career as an auto mechanic and then realtor until his retirement in 2014. Fred was a member of the Kinsmen Club for many years.

Fred was an amazing husband to his beloved wife Geraldine (nee Conners) who preceded him in death. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather to Chris and grandchildren Christal, Nicole and Christopher; April (Dave) and granddaughters Emma and Sophie; Brad (Patty) and grandson Jesse; Lori and granddaughter Victoria; Julie (Todd) and grandsons Dylan and Conner, and great granddaughters Addison, Cali and Kassidi.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday February 23^rd, 2019 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 410 St Vincent St in Barrie from 1:00–5:00 pm. All who knew Fred are welcome.

Memorial contributions are welcome at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie.
