Geoff (Poppa) was very proud of his "dynasty" and of all their accomplishments, and the fact they are all good people. Geoff was born in Newcastle England January 3,1928. He worked his whole working life for Kodak. First in England and then in Canada. Geoff was enthusiastic about most sports, but especially soccer. He coached kids’ soccer for years. Because of this, anyone who would like to make a memorial contribution in lieu of flowers, please consider Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities
The Hardy family would like to give wholehearted thanks to the caring and hardworking staff at Victoria Village Manor in Barrie. He was cared for with love and respect for 14 years.
Cremation will take place with a spring internment. There will be a celebration of Geoff's long life in the near future. RIP Geoff. Cheers!

Posted on: Sunday, December 21, 2025Geoff Hardy had a gift for laughter and a love of sports. He proudly called himself “Arnold Palmer,” promised to meet us at the 19th hole for a Guinness, and joked that he always won the game because he kept the score. Geoff was very proud of his “dynasty”, and during his life he created a very detailed family tree going back several generations, which his family built upon and grew to over 2000 people. Geoff will always be remembered in our stories, our roots, and our hearts. We miss you Poppa, but we will see you at the 19th hole! – Your Grandson Brian
