KNIGHT, George Edward - Passed away at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Wednesday January 20, 2016 at the age of 66. Proud and loving father of Cindy (Gene) Vigneron, Michelle (Conrad) Russell, Paula Barbaro, and Trevor Knight. Grandpa will be lovingly remembered by Jeffrey, Anna, Rosalie, Kwynn, Rosa, Dominica and Estella. Poppa will be greatly missed by Cory (April) Barber, Tracy (Roger) Lesperance, Chris (Angela) Barber, Morgan, Elliott, Ian, Jacob, Emily and Connor. Fondly remembered by many relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Mervin and Yvette Knight and sisters Patricia Komaris and Lillian Sabean.
Celebration of George’s Life will take place Saturday March 19, 2016 at 2pm in the Starlite room at the Army and Navy Barrie. All family and friends are welcome to attend.

We all have our own special and countless wonderful memories with George and he will be greatly missed.

We hadn’t seen George since 2003, when we traveled in our 5th wheel trailer from our home in Alberta to visit George and Susan at their lake lot near Barrie. We have nothing but fond memories of our times with George and Susan. He was the consummate tour guide, whether he was taking us out in his boat or truck. George always made us feel welcome in their home and for that, we’ll always be grateful. Rest in peace friend.
