ATTRIDGE, George Norman
Passed away peacefully, with family at his side, on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Colleen Landers Attridge. Loving father of Norman (Pat, deceased), Mike (Patty), Greg (Sharon), Michael and Sharon (Arash). Cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 14.
George's life included a career that spanned forty years, culminating as CEO of Garland Commercial Ranges. He was a mentor to many and had a number of Board responsibilities serving the community.
In keeping with George’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Redline Brewhouse, 431 Bayview Drive, Barrie from 2-5 p.m. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a Foundation of your choice.
