Gerald Henry McIntaggart

February 5, 1933 - December 9, 2021

Funeral Details:

In loving memory of Gerald Henry McIntaggart who passed away peacefully Thursday December 9th at R.V.R.H.C. Jerry (LBJ) was in his 89th year. Husband of the late Marion B. McIntaggart (Duncan). Loving father of Deborah Turcotte (McIntaggart) (Chris Turcotte), Brenda McIntaggart (Ralph Whitehouse) and Lorrie Moore (McIntaggart) (Brent Moore). Loving grandfather of Brandon Pelley Moore (Chris Pelley) and Elizabeth Bishop (Anderson)(Jordan Bishop), and great grandfather of 2. Predeceased by his 3 brothers Pat, Mickey and Basil and his late sister Ellen Perrault (McIntaggart).

Jerry was a member of the Electrical Workers Union Local 1739 for over 50 years. Jerry loved playing cards especially 58 with his wife ( the only one who would be his partner) and girls. He hated when one of us would eat his king, which happened often lol. We loved playing little gags on him and we would laugh till we cried sometimes. His sense of humor and his silly jokes will be missed by all who knew him.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff of R.V.R.H.C for making him comfortable in his last days.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.

You will most certainly be missed. I remember a kind loving generous man. I remember as a child when you visited, you would alway dump a pocket full of quarters on our table for us kids… loved it.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Gerry’s family at this difficult time. I first met your Dad over 50 years ago while working through the IBEW LU 1739. He was a great guy and Brother and was always good for giving everyone a chuckle. God bless and R.I.P. Br. LBJ and the Baby Duck.

I remember your father fondly, you mom and dad were always welcoming when I would come over. The elementary schools years have always stayed with me. He is with mom again, what a reunion that will be.
God Bless you girls. Prayers and hugs sent your way.
    🙏🏻❤️
