Gerry Westington

Gerry Westington, age 62, passed peacefully at his home in Washago in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 26th. Gerry had been fighting a battle with cancer for some time.  

Born May 4th, 1959 in Orillia, he lived in Washago and worked as a successful siding installer and carpenter until retiring in 2019. 

Gerry is survived by his brothers, Jim and Kirk Westington, his nephew Dale Martin, his loving Aunt Pat Johnston, his cousins Nicole Johnston-Gray and Kylie Reid, and a number of other loved ones. Gerry was predeceased in death by his parents, Alan and Harva Westington.

 Gerry and the family would like to extend a very large thank you to his nurses Amy, Julia, and Tammy.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday July 17, 2021 from 1-4pm at Gerry's residence at 3335 Albany St. Washago. Relatives and friends are welcome.
