Greiner, Gisela, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2022 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, ON.
Gisela is survived by her dearly loved daughter in law Lori and siblings Hans-Jurgen and Erika. She is predeceased by her husband Wolfgang, son Frank and brother Wolfgang.
She will be sadly missed by family and friends here in Canada and in Germany.
Gisela loved spending time at the cottage, gardening and line dancing. She was an active member at the Askennonia Senior Centre.
She loved talking to her family and friends, and at the end of every conversation she always said
“And that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!”
A very warm thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre who cared for her.
At Gisela’s request cremation has taken place and she will be interred at Barrie Union Cemetery with her husband in May.
