Funeral Details:

MIDDLETON, Glen Robert Charles

Passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family, children and close friends at the age of 59 on Monday, July 17, 2017.  Beloved son of Doreen Webb (Brian) and his late father Robert Middleton.  Loving father of Greg (Denise), Brittni, Carissa Lee, and Trina (Luke).  Grandfather of Madison, Crayden and Victoria.  Glen will be dearly missed by his brother Kevin (Marie), his sister Denise (Bill), step brothers Nick Webb (Cherlyn) & Andrew Webb (Sharon) as well his 101 year old grandmother Queenie Jordan and many other close family members and friends.  Glen will be remembered for his passion of cars and racing and his devotion to the hydro industry. A mentor to many he will be sadly missed by his crews both on the job and at the track.

Special thank you to his close buddy Kent and wife Liz who stayed with him and his Family throughout his last days. As well, the family would like to thank those who made themselves available to Glen during his last days - your stories and presence brought him peace.  We would be remiss not to mention the nursing staff of Right at Home and Saint Elizabeth, especially Christine, who came to Glen's home and ensured his dignity and comfort while providing his family with care and support.

The family will hold a Celebration of Glen's life on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Aurora Legion, 89 Industrial Parkway, Aurora at 1 p.m.  Donations in Glen’s memory can be made to Conestoga – School of Trades & Apprenticeship (www.conestogacommunity.ca/transforming-together), Canadian Tire Jumpstart (http://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/content/microsites/jumpstart/en/how-you-can-help.html) or the Aurora Minor Hockey Association (https://auroraminorhockey.com/Contact/).  Messages of condolence can be left at www.peacefultransition.ca

Just looking up Glen not sure if this is the same Glen Middelten that I played hockey and ran track with 40 years ago. I lived in Aurora at that time. Sorry to all family and freinds
