AUSTIN, Gordon Howard
Gord went to his final resting place on November 27, 2017 at Mill Creek Care Centre in Barrie.
On his return from serving in Korea with the Canadian Army, he opened his sporting goods store and ran the scuba diving club -Blue Fins. Gord then moved on to join a mortgage firm and then into real estate until he retired in 1995. Helen and Gord traveled and had a great time enjoying their condo in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Gord is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Helen, daughter Kathy, son-in-law Ron and his special granddaughter, Stephanie (Travis). Pre-deceased by his grandson Noel. Gord also leaves his nieces, nephews and their extended family to mourn his loss.
A celebration of life will be held at Sandycove Acres – The Spoke, 15 Main Street, Innisfil, Ontario on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Messages of condolence can be left at www.peacefultransition.ca
