It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gordon John Hennessey on May 31, 2024, in Barrie, ON.
Gordon will be dearly missed by his mother, Donna Woods (Rick); girlfriend, Brittany Miljavec; sister, Jennifer Gill (Jason); stepbrother, Shawn Woods (Belinda); and grandmother, Ev Kennington. He will be forever remembered by his nephew, Conner Gill; aunts, Dianne Stack (Kevin), Darla Kennington, Dawn Taylor (Mike), and Jane Ramsey; as well as many cousins, extended family and friends. Gordon is predeceased by his father, Gordon Edward Hennessey; his grandmother, Jackie Hennessey; and his grandfathers, Eugene Hennessey and Jack Kennington.
Gordon was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and boyfriend. Family and friendships were of utmost importance to him, and he was known for his loyalty and kindness to his many friends.
Gordon had a passion for riding his motorcycle, with his Harley Davidson being his pride and joy. When he wasn't on his bike, he could be found working out in the gym. Gordon especially enjoyed his time working out in Grand Prairie, where he often shared stunning pictures of sunrises and sunsets with his loved ones.
Gordon's presence in the lives of those who knew him will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
Donations in Gordon’s memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation www.heartandstroke.ca, Alzheimer’s Society www.alzheimer.ca or Canadian Cancer Society www.cancer.ca would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Posted on: Tuesday, August 13, 2024Gord made such an impact while working with us in Alberta. He was the best of us all, real to the core in every way.
He was a man of honour, integrity, and endless loyalty to those who were lucky enough to be close to him.
I will always be grateful for the time we had together, For the friendship we formed, and for the many laughs we shared.
We at C&C became better men for knowing you, and are lesser men after losing you.
We will always honour your memory brother.
Until we meet again, rest well my friend.
