Although it’s been many years since I have seen Gord, my memories of him feel like it was just yesterday. From the high school summers spent in the backyard pool of the Collison house on Varden to hanging out in the basement rec room with Pam watching the Love Boat to the many times he chauffeured us around town. Betty and Gord kindly helped out on my wedding day by driving some of our bridal party to the church. Gord was our Uber driver for many years!
Some people come to feel like fixtures in your life, Gord and Betty are like that for me.
Our condolences go out to the entire family. We are so sorry for your loss.
    Jayne and Warren

I remember Uncle Gord as a wonderful husband, a son, father 0f his family. He always made time for you if he met on the street. I remember when I was a kid taking time to teach me how to catch a soft ball and to appreciate the game of sports He was a role model to young kids like myself on how to overcome your weaknesses and how to strive for success in what ever you want to accomplishAlthough I have not seen him in avery long time he certainly made a difference in my life. Dear Betty & Family,

I worked with Gord for many years at Canada Post. A true gentleman who worked hard , was very supportive, loved to laugh….and enjoy a few drinks too. He thought very highly of his family. My last visit with him was at the Waterside Retirement Home in Wasaga Beach, where we spoke of old friends , co-workers and old times. He never stopped smiling. He will be missed by all but it’s now time for him to head off on his next great adventure, leaving all the pain and sadness behind . He will be missed.
    With deepest sympathy to all.
    Gwen
