Funeral Details: A Celebration of Grace’s Life will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hahne Hall, 16 Hedgewood Lane, Gravenhurst, Ontario.
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Grace Ann Price on August 16, 2026, at the age of 82.
Grace will be forever missed by her children Laura (Scott) Darroch, David (Melanie) Price, and her grandchildren Ainsley, Kaitlyn, Dylan and Kira.
The years following John’s passing were not always easy. Grace missed him deeply and faced her own health challenges, but she remained the queen of bouncing back. She travelled while she could, stayed close to the people she loved and continued to enjoy life to the fullest.
Pineridge in Gravenhurst was truly home to Grace. She loved the community, her friends and neighbours, and could always find enough energy for a board meeting, bingo, cards or, most importantly, happy hour.
Grace stayed at Pineridge almost until the end before spending a short time at Granite Ridge Retirement Residence, where her kindness, humour and unmistakable personality quickly made an impression on residents and staff alike.
We like to think Grace and John have finally found each other again. Their love for one another was obvious to anyone who knew them — as was their ability to enjoy a good bicker. We’re pretty sure the love, the laughs and the bickering have already picked up right where they left off.
A Celebration of Grace’s Life will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hahne Hall, 16 Hedgewood Lane, Gravenhurst, Ontario. Friends and family are invited to join us to share some stories, some laughs and to celebrate Grace the way she would have wanted.
