Guy passed away suddenly in Barrie, on December 13th 2022, in his 55th year. Survived by his daughter Maia Pratt (Maia’s mother Marsha); and brother Craig Morrow Seymour and his wife Dara of Barrie. Guy will also be remembered by his friend Mike Ball, his Aunt Moya Morrow and many cousins. Predeceased by parents, Maureen Elizabeth and Paul Dunham Seymour.
We would like to thank Mike for his continued friendship and support of Guy over the years, a true friend, who kept us apprised of Guy's situation throughout.
A private cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Heart and Stroke Association.

Posted on: Thursday, December 22, 2022My deepest Condolences to Maia and Marsha, Craig and Dara and any other friends and family feeling this loss. I for one, am devastated! I am proud to say Guy and I had a close friendship bond that allowed us the freedom to open up to each other about some of our inner most fears, feelings, regrets and hopes. I know we spoke at length about this day before your passing Guy, but knowing the day would come didn’t make it any easier to see you go.
You leave a void in my life I am doubtful any other friend can ever fill. I hope you are finally at peace and rest assured your memory shall live on forever in all those of us who matter! Love you Brother…Rest in Peace

Posted on: Saturday, December 24, 2022Rest in peace Guy. My condolences to all those that feel his loss. I am very saddened, but will always remember him as one of the most sincere, loving, caring people I’ve ever met. He had a heart of gold, an amazing sense of humour and a laugh that would make you join in no matter your mood! We laughed and loved, we grew up together, we married and shared dreams and hopes for our future…he was truly my best friend. I hope his daughter will learn of all the amazing and wonderful ways that he made a difference in people’s lives, and learn of the amazing man that he was. I’m very happy that my brother continued to remain close with Guy. I will always remember him and all the wonderful memories we shared. May you rest in peace and forever be remembered in the hearts of all those who knew you. I am sure he’s with loved ones now and free from pain, finally at peace.

Posted on: Sunday, October 1, 2023Craig and Dara,
Craig, I was so sorry to hear of Guy’s passing. He was much too young to leave this world.
I regrettably won’t be able to attend the memorial service this October, but my thoughts and prayers are with you both.
With sincere condolences,
Dana, James, son Paul and his wife Carrie
