Harald Julius Paul Meesen

Meesen, Harald Julius Paul:  Passed away peacefully at Margaret Bahen Hospice, Newmarket on September 8, 2023.  Harald Meesen of Aurora, formerly of Kiel, Germany at the age of 94 years.  Beloved husband of the late Rita Meesen (nee Fries).  Loving father of Monika Meesen of Holland Landing, Heinrich Meesen (Francine) of Quebec City, and Sonja Brown (Chris) of Aurora.  He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Jacqueline, Nicole, Charles (Laurie), Alexandre (Isabelle), Barbara (Paul), Meesen (Thomas), and Burton.  Special Great-Opa of Charlie, Lexi, Henri James, Eve, and Harley.  Pre-deceased by his brother Joachim in Germany.  A private family farewell and Celebration of life will take place.  Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition York (2-15236 Yonge Street, Aurora) and condolences may be forwarded through www.peacefultransition.ca.
