Funeral Details:

LOWE, Harry 'Hap' John - Passed away on Thursday January 29th at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie, Ontario at the age of 86 after a long and brave battle with cancer.  Hap is pre-deceased by his loving wife Gwennyth Lowe (nee Brown), sister Marion Stephens (nee Lowe), sister-in-law Myrna Sinclair (nee Brown), and brother-in-law Dr. Murray Brown.

He is forever loved and remembered by his daughter Kathy and her husband Brad Flowers, son John, and dear grandchildren Jennifer and Ryan Lowe.  Hap will live forever in the hearts of his sisters and brothers in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Hap will be eternally missed by his dedicated friend Norman Ineson, his wife Barb, and his companion and friend Evelyn Patterson of Barrie.

Hap's dedication to The Kinsmen Club of Barrie, The Rameses Shrine Club of Mississauga, and The Probis Club of Barrie were some of the ways in which he shared his life and commitment to his community.

The family would like to thank Dr. Carol Rebecca Verhaughe who was a tremendous confidante and physician to Hap in his last years. 

To his friends at Whispering Pines Retirement home in Barrie, the family  wants to thank you for unwavering support to Hap during the most difficult of times.  His friends, Barb, Paul, and Earle will always be a special table to sit with.

To Hospice Simcoe...the family thanks the nursing and care-giving staff that made Hap's last days as comfortable as possible.  Hap forged new friendships there until the day he died.

To the many friends of the LOWE family... thank you for all your compassion, heart-felt messages, and support and love shown to Hap throughout his life but especially over the past few weeks.
