Barb we were devastated to hear of you losing your beloved Holly, we know she was your world.  We often commented on what a great help she was to you around the house, a very caring teenager who we could see the  love for her Mom and Grandma.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time, knowing Holly will be your guardian angel during your time here on earth.  Merv and Gayle

It was a pleasure to have met Holly during the summer of 2014, and to have participated in an exciting exchange experience between Ontario and Quebec students with her.  Holly’s enthusiasm and vivaciousness will always be remembered.  Please know that you and the extended family are being kept in our thoughts and prayers, Barb.

So very sad to hear this news about Holly-Ryan has fond memories of her on the Quebec exchange trip last summer.  She was one of the first people that he met at the initial gathering, she was very welcoming and they ended up “hanging out” during the trip. Our thoughts are with you at this challenging time.

Holly was an amazing and valuable asset to the YMCA Geneva Park summer camp team.  She was an amazing volunteer and a joy to have at camp every day for the past few summers. She came to camp every day with enthusiasm, excitement and a positive attitude. We know she loved camp and camp loved her. She will be so greatly missed this summer, and for the rest of our lives. Our thoughts are with her family during such a difficult time. Love from her Geneva Park family <3

Barb:  Thinking of you today as you prepare to say your final goodbye.  Just know that she will always be with you.  It has been 21 years since Katie-Lynn was tragically taken from me and I take comfort in knowing she is always with me.  I am here for you always.  xoxo

No one will ever know the amount of pain you feel with the loss of your daughter; as a mother my heart breaks for all of you.  I know in my heart that Holly will always be by your side and in your heart.  I can only pray that one day some of your grief will be replaced with the happy memories you have of your short time together.

I met Holly a few times in the summer of 2014 when she was at the Geneva Park summer camp and will always remember her smiling face and sparkling personality.  This is a tragic and heart wrenching turn of events and our hearts go out to Barb. She will be missed greatly.

Holly was a fantastic beautiful young girl and she was loved and will be missed by all the Geneva Park YMCA camp staff and volunteers who knew her. Not only us but the kids will miss Holly. I feel as though I can speak on the behalf of YMCA staff that Holly made a huge impact on camp. I had the pleasure of working at camp with Holly for the past two years that she volunteered. She came to camp with a big smile and always knew how to make myself and others laugh. Holly was a true leader, I remember her telling me close to the end of this past summer how she wanted to apply to be a counsellor in a few years when she was able to. She would of made a great one. I was touched when I seen &heard all the comments and pictures of Holly at the Ymca on the boards displayed at the church. Holly was part of the YMCA Geneva family and always will be. Holly may be gone but her spirit lives on in the places she impacted and in the memories of the people she impacted. Rest in Peace Holly, may you watch over Geneva Park Daycamps for us<3

My heart goes out to Holly’s family and friends, especially her mom Barb who gave us the gift of allowing Holly to volunteer and impact numerous lives.
