It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Imre Varga on March 23, 2025, at the age of 90 years.
Imre was the beloved husband of the late Elvira Varga, a devoted father to Sandra (Aurele), and a loving stepfather to the late Agnes. He was also a cherished grandpa to Jordan.
A private cremation has taken place.

Jim will be missed by many of his friends who respected him for his honesty and readiness for providing a helping hand to those who needed it.
His volunteer work at the Hungarian Cultural Centre on the huge illuminated St. Hungarian Crown will be always remembered by the Hungarian community.

Posted on: Sunday, March 23, 2025We just heard the sad news about Imre bácsi and even from far away, we’ve been thinking about him and all the memories we have of him.
He was such a good friend to my father, and we’ll always remember the way they worked side by side, especially during the renovations of our home. No matter how big or small the task, he was always ready to lend a hand, never expecting anything in return—just happy to help. His kindness, his humor, and the stories he shared made those times special.
May he rest in peace, reunited with those who went before him
