Irene Carle

Funeral Details: Private family arrangements

Passed away peacefully in July 2026 at the remarkable age of 100 years.

Irene was the beloved wife of the late David Carle (2003).  She was the loving mother of Marilyn (David) of Kingsville, Ontario, and Janice of Cairns, Australia.  Cherished Grandma of Danielle and Michelle, and proud Great-Grandma of Sophie and Kody, all of Australia.  She is also survived by her sister, Marjorie, of California, U.S.A.

Irene was strong-willed and wonderfully feisty, a true reflection of her proud Scottish heritage.  A social butterfly by nature, Irene embraced life at the I.O.O.F., where she loved participating in card games, bingo, and the many activities available to her.  She formed friendships with people of all ages.  Although she reached the incredible milestone of 100 years, she maintained a remarkably youthful appearance and spirit that often surprised those around her.

Private family arrangements have been entrusted to Peaceful Transition.

In memory of Irene, donations may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Online memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.peacefultransition.ca.
