It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Kennedy (nee Sutherland) on Friday, October 25, 2019. Loving mother of Craig, beloved sister of Betty, Alec (Ann), Evelyn (David) and Sheila. Irene will be tenderly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Stephen (Linda), Kerry, Alexis, Ann (Brian), Irene and Elaine as well as from extended family in Kitchener, Hamilton, New Brunswick and Edinburgh, Scotland. Special thanks to Betty Henderson for all of her help.
Irene touched the hearts of all who knew her and the memory of her smile and laughter will be with us forever. We fondly imagine she is now reunited with her husband Winston Kennedy (2006), her brother Neil Sutherland (2019), brother-in-law Henry Harper (2017) and nephew Graeme Harper (2007).
Our sincerest thank you to all her friends and family for their love and support and to the doctors and nurses at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie Palliative Unit for their dedication and care.

My condolences to her son Craig whom she loved so much and was always talking about. To the rest of her family you have my deepest condolences. I am also so sad to hear of her passing almost a year after. She was such a kind and caring person and so liked by everyone she met and touched. You will be so missed by so many dear sweet lady.
