    Dear Gail,
Please accept my deepest condolences for your family’s loss. I worked with Ivan at Simcoe Block from 1996 to 2001. I always enjoyed my talks with Ivan. He was a feisty guy, and often brought laughter to the staff. We lost touch after I move on to another career.

The Members of the MBA were very saddened to hear of the passing of Ivan. He is remembered as a very generous, kind, happy person with a great sense of humour. He was even keeled and would give you the shirt off his back with the character of one of “Old School Muskoka”. Our deepest condolences to the family.

    Dear Gail,

So sorry to hear of Ivan’s passing. I first met Ivan over 30 years ago when he was with Simcoe Block and I was with Canada Brick.
I considered Ivan a friend and enjoyed my time spent with him. We could never go to lunch in Muskoka without at least two or three people stopping him on the street to say hi ! He was well known and well liked by so many people and will be missed dearly by all.
My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
