It is with saddened hearts that the family of James Edwin Boseley announce his passing, at the age of 95, on Tuesday December 7th. 2022, at the Coleman Care Long Term Facility in Barrie ON.  James passed peacefully with his daughter by his side.

James was born May 11th, 1927, in Surrey, England, to Emily and Phillip Boseley.  James is predeceased by his sister Nell (Harris), and his wife Maureen, to whom he was married for 58 years.

James leaves behind his children Phillip Boseley of Texas, Geoff Boseley of Newmarket, and daughter Sandra (Hartman) of Innisfil.

Also deeply saddened by his passing are his many grandchildren.  Caitlin (Kelly), Michael, Jessica, Jaimee, Garrett, Benjamin, Samantha, Cole, and Sydney.

A long-time employee of Canada Post, James was recognized routinely for his perfect attendance and dedication to them.

James was also an avid bowler and had a lifelong fascination for trains.  James and Maureen traveled the World together a passion they both shared, they were always planning their next adventure together.

No service will be held at this time. But condolence may be sent to the family on behalf of Peaceful Transition.

    We had so many great time together Grandpa. I will miss all the sleepovers with you and grandma and the games we’d play. Michael’s hockey was also a great time. And the pantomimes! Miss you and love you.

    Our condolences go out to the family. It has been heart warming to see Sandra, Cole and Syd over the past few years going to great lengths to see her dad/Grandfather amid Covid restrictions. Our hearts are with you. We know you miss him terribly.

    I will always remember our time at the cottages in pointe au baril, and after we sold our cottage coming to innisfil for visits. Auntie maureen and uncle Jim where always welcoming with a cup of tea and a tray of treats. The world has lost a caring and wonderful man. Hugs and prayers to phill, Geoff and Sandra.

    Uncle Jim was an amazing person I have fond memories of him showing me his most amazing train setup like everything in life it was a work of love.

    I am so sorry to hear this news. Please accept my condolences on your loss. Jim was a wonderful man and a good companion. He made friends wherever he went. We chatted many times over tea. He will be missed by many. Keeping all of you in my prayers.
