Janet, of Barrie passed away at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the age of 76 years.
Janet was born on September 8, 1947 in Alliston to the late Jack and Mary Selfe. She was many things to people; she was the sister to Jim (Pauline), and Bill (Cindy); and pre-deceased by her sister-in-law Caramel. Mother of Wayne (Denise), Rick (Laura), Ron (Jennifer), and Gregg (Becky); Oma of Cody (Emily), Jordan, Braden (Sarah), Riley, and Reese; and great-Oma of Daisy and Ben. Janet will also be remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews (too many to list!).
Her family would like to thank the staff and residents of Simcoe Terrace Retirement community for making her feel at home. She truly loved the time that she spent with all of you there.
Thank you also to the staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital. All of your hard work, kindness, and care is greatly appreciated.
