Janet Tapp (nee Truax)

July 21, 1960 - June 11, 2022

Funeral Details:

Janet Tapp (nee Truax) lived her life with love and, as fitting, she passed away in the same way - surrounded by love at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie. Her 62 years were a gift to all who knew her, especially her loving husband Murry Tapp and son Robert.

Janet was so much more than the cancer that took her life on June 11, 2022.  She touched many lives. She had a passion for working with children and she kept in touch with many of them as they grew into adulthood.  She made friends easily with her caring, happy nature and laughter. She loved animals and was often surrounded by her dog or cat.

Janet is survived by her husband Murry and her son Robert and loving father-in-law Albert, siblings Nancy Radcliffe (Rae Radcliffe, decd.), Eunice & Roy Jopling, Larry Truax, Murry & Sheryl Truax, Peggy & Brian French, David & Beth Truax, Clayton Truax & Robin Hargadon, Rebbeca Truax & David McNamara and many nieces and nephews.

Expressions of honour to Janet’s life may be made to Hospice Simcoe www.hospicesimcoe.ca in gratitude for their incredible care.
