Passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026 at the age of 74 years.
Janice was predeceased by her father, Robert, and her mother Jean. Beloved wife of Roger for 45 wonderful years. Loving mother of Carly (Chad), and Laura (Chris). Proud and cherished grandmother of Gemma, Charlie, and Garrett. Dear sister of Larry (Liz), and Carol (Jim). She will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, as well as her many dear friends.
Janice was kind, thoughtful and always taking care of the people around her. She had a great sense of humour that would brighten any room and bring smiles to those around her. She loved to laugh and have fun with family and friends.
Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the funeral home.
In memory of Janice, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Posted on: Monday, July 13, 2026My deepest condolences to Roger, Carly and Laura and their extended families on the loss of this beautiful Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend. I have very fond memories of times spent with Jan when she lived in Tollendal. There were numerous neighbourhood get togethers and particularly euchre nights when Jan was full of life and laughter. I am thankful that I was able to spend those moments with her.

Posted on: Wednesday, July 22, 2026Jan was my room mate for our first year at York U. She made an immediate impression on me, and we shared fun memories of hi jinks, boundary testing, highs and lows and even graduating. Her loss is so unexpected I can hardly believe she is gone. She was beautiful both inside and out and had more fun for life than anyone I know.
My sincere condolences cannot reflect the depth of the feelings I have for the family and friends she leaves behind.
