Janis Lynn Craig

Janis Lynn Craig passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, in her 78^th year.

Born in Midland, Ontario, she moved to Barrie as a young girl where she lived the rest of her life.  Janis spent over 35 years as an RPN at Royal Victoria Hospital and was known for her cheerful approach to patient care.

She is survived and fondly remembered by her brothers Ron Craig (Lynda) of Wasaga Beach, Peter Craig (Sharon) of Bayfield, ON and her nieces and nephews and their families. She is predeceased by her parents Gordon Craig and Audrey Craig.

A special thanks to Janis’ friend Val Kelly and the kind and compassionate staff at Owen Hill Care Community who cared for Janis in her final years.

Cremation has taken place and a private family internment will be held at a later date.
