Saddened today to learn that Jean Moss has passed away. When I was a teenager growing up in Midland Mrs. Moss was kind enough to tolerate quite a few of Bruce’s friends in her home. Always kind to us, many of us looked upon the Moss house as a second home. One of her favourite rooms was her “Sun” room where she spent a lot of time enjoying the sunshine in peace and tranquility. When visiting the Moss Family cottage on Lake Muskoka in the summer months she would put us to work staining the dock with Solignum. Inevitably the staining crew ended up with the stain on their skin but Mrs. Moss never scolded us …. simply provided some medication to ease the pain. A very warm and thoughtful person who will be remembered always.

She was my Aunty Jean, not my real Aunt, but she was a huge part of my life growing up. She was so fun and interesting, classy, good cook, great conversationalist, a loving and caring mother, grandmother, friend.
My husband, Garland, and I send our deepest condolences to the family.
    Love her forever.
    RIP Aunty Jean.
