What fun times we had walking along the Danforth and checking out all the little shops. She will be sorely missed!

    Peace and Love Jill!!

Jeltje’s brother Jace, whom I knew from Theatre School at UBC, had suggested his sister when I was looking for a roommate. Jeltje and I hit it off right away and shared a basement flat in Vancouver 1968-69. We travelled together with other students on a charter flight to Amsterdam, lived in the Caledonia, walked together to the Carlton Hotel where we worked as chambermaids. Eventually we went in separate directions, but I have never forgotten her. She ‘was always up for a new adventure, she was funny, she was quick and kind and good. Her family must miss her very much.
