It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved patriarch, Jens Keld Andersen, who passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 15, 2026, at the age of 84 years.
Beloved husband of Catherine for 62 wonderful years. Loving father of Christian (Betty) and Jennifer (Jeff). Proud Papa of Joshua, Nicole (Justyn), Rebecca (Connor), and Ally. Jens will also be remembered by his brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Jens is now reunited with his favourite furry companion, Tinker, who was no doubt waiting for him on the other side.
Jens was deeply devoted to his family, whom he loved so much. He lived a life marked by passion, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to others. He gave countless hours to youth skiing programs and supported the Special Olympics, leaving a lasting and meaningful impact on many lives.
A talented and creative woodworker, Jens took great pride in his craftsmanship. He and his wife, Catherine shared many hours together tending to their gardens.
An informal Celebration of Life, a chance to stop by and share a story will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the family home from 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., light refreshments will be provided with a toast to Jens at 2:30 p.m. If you wish to attend, please contact the family for location details.
In memory of Jens, if desired, donations may be made to the Special Olympics.
