Although we did not know Jerry personally, we do know how much our grandson Nathan enjoyed baseball with Coach Jerry.  In time, may you and your children find peace through support from family and friends.

When a man and his wife have a baby  that is one of the most special times in their lives.  For the Daddy it is even more special when that first baby is a girl.  Marsha is my first born child. As his baby girl begins to grow  I don’t think any father looks ahead to the day he will lose her to another man.  but eventually in most cases that happens.  Fourteen years ago my baby girl had become a young strong determined woman and she “found someone” It took me a while to get used to Jerry but as time went on I accepted that he was a pretty good guy.  He had to be.  He had my daughter’s heart.  I am going to miss you Jerry more than you will know.  Thank you for everything you did to make Marsha happy and thank you for giving me two WONDERFUL WONDERFUL grandchildren.  I plan on being around as long as I can so anytime they need me I will be there.  I also plan on reminding them from time to time how VERY SPECIAL their father IS.

I was very shocked to hear of the sad news. I had met Jerry only a few times through Innisfil Baseball, but heard many times how much he loved the kids and that he dedicated so much of his time as an Assistant Coach. May you find comfort in your family, friends and faith during this difficult time.

Dear Marsha and all of those who loved Gerry. I am a friend of your Dad’s from when he lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba. My thoughts and wishes are with you and your family as you go through this devastating time in your life. Gerry sounds like a gentleman who loved life, you, family and must have had many close friends. May the wonderful memories you made together with family and friends remain deep in your heart so you can treasure the special things you did together and with your children especially. I pray you are comforted by all the people thinking and praying for you in this time of future healing.

    Prayers and Hugs,

    Ingrid

I met Jerry in 2006 while working at Stacey Electric , we became great friends, he was a very good electrician and very hard worker. He was very interested in learning everything about what their was to know about traffic signals and he didn’t stop until he did know as much as possible with this specialty type of work as an electrician. We all have to work together as a family to help Marsha, Skylar& Summer to give them strength from now and ongoing days, months and years. This is what Loving Family and Friends Do. Love you always as a True Friend Jerry, May You Rest in Peace Brother Jerry Gagne.
