It with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of John Ferguson Husband, Dad, Father In-law, Papa and Great-Papa.
Survived by the love of his life for 61 years Georgina, his children Cathy (Tony) and Bruce (Paula), his grandchildren Alexandria (Chris), Blake (Sarah), Ashley (Frank) and Justin (Carla), his great grandchildren Jack, Cassandra and Leo.
Born Aug 10, 1938, he came to Canada at 19, pursuing a career as a Metro Toronto Police officer for 30 years. He was also a dog handler and Canadian Championship Lawn Bowler. But his greatest love and pride was his family, he enjoyed hearing about and celebrating all his children and grandchildren's lives and adventures.
His great grandchildren's pictures and antics were also a great source of entertainment and joy. He will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.

Posted on: Friday, January 23, 2026Maureen and I would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to Georgia and Family on the passing of John. I just found out today (Jan. 23.2026) that John had passed away in December 2025. John was my partner for a number of years on the Toronto Police and he was one of the best officers I ever worked with. Rest in Peace my friend.
