Peacefully at Margaret Bahen Hospice. Beloved husband of Rhonda for 55 years and loving father of Robb. John was predeceased by his eight siblings Al, Winnie, Harry, Bill, Eric, Louise, Paula, and Peter. Born in Mariahaut, Netherlands, his family immigrated to Kapuskasing in 1953 and moved to Aurora in 1957. He worked in aluminum extrusions & designs at Alcan, BonL, and Apolo.

Posted on: Thursday, May 21, 2026John sure was a presence on Wenderly Drive. He always had time for a friendly chat, especially about gardening. He certainly kept the front garden as a lovely example of lawn-free landscaping.
We have expressed our deepest condolences to Rhonda and Robb through this journey of loss and remembrance.
John is greatly missed.
