NEWMAN, John Sidney
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Royal Victoria Hospital at the age of 73. Beloved husband to Barb of 50 years. Cherished father of Andrew and Jen. Loving brother to Sandy and her husband Paul Druckman and brother in law to Taf, Julian and Vicki. John will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In keeping with John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Posted on: Tuesday, November 15, 2016Our memories are of those wonderful years in the 1960’s and 70’s when we were young, new parents, new homeowners, new neighbours and no doubt just a little foolish. We were great friends and had great times and John was at the heart of it all. Nobody could be more fun or more helpful. He taught us so much. He was a true friend. Our thoughts are with the family as you all celebrate a life well lived.

Posted on: Wednesday, November 16, 2016I have many wonderful memories of John from the cottage when I was a little kid. Fortunately many of them were captured in silent, old school, film. I believe my father has had many of them converted to something we can all see. I would love to see you guys and share them with you.
I will always remember John’s big smile.
