Funeral Details: A Celebration of life will be announced at a later date

Justine Anne Bond, age 62, of Aurora, Ontario passed away on February 25th, 2023 surrounded by close friends and family. Justine is survived by her two children, Trevor and Krista Szecsany, their partners Melissa and Rob, and her granddaughter, Audrey Szecsany. Her parents Gary and Edna Austin and sister and her husband, Gaye and Danny Kishchuk, as well as her brother and his wife, Brett and Hanako Austin, her nieces, Amanda, Deanna, and Chiharu, and her stepchildren Shannon Bond and Megan Yurkiw all loved her deeply and will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Bond.  Justine grew up in Toronto where she attended Sir Wilfred Laurier High School. After raising her family in Scarborough, she moved to Aurora in 2017 where she enjoyed baking and spending time with her family. She was the CEO of CPA Professional Liability Plan Inc. where for the last 30 years she led her company to financial success.  Justine had a challenging life, but she was always able to find the positive in any obstacle that she faced.  She was smart, strong and kind, always putting the needs of others before herself.  Justine loved Young and the Restless, puzzles, pottery, Hallmark movies, live music and her cottage in Orillia. Justine would do anything for her friends, family and loved ones.  As the family matriarch she was able to bring everyone together and encourage them to reach higher aspirations. She made everyone who knew her laugh, cry, and cheer her on because of her quick wit and willingness to lend a hand or step up for anyone who needed her. Our family is grateful to know that after an extremely difficult battle against cancer, that she is finally at peace. Justine will be missed deeply and her legacy of love and strength will never be forgotten. Justine has been cremated and a celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2023. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society in Justine’s name.  Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition York(2-15236 Yonge Street, Aurora) and condolences may be forwarded through www.peacefultransition.ca

Justine I may have only known for a few short years, but she made such an impact in my life she became my son Robs mother in law when he married Krista. When he first moved to Canada she spoke to me constantly to let me know that he was doing ok, she became his mom and loved him and welcomed him into her family in true Justine style.
For that I will be forever in your debt thank you it was a pleasure to know and love you
