So sorry to hear of Katherine’s passing. My condolences to her husband and children. Also to her sisters & Brothers.
I knew Katherine as I lived across the alley from the family. They lived on Wyandotte St. West in Windsor and I lived on Curry Ave in Windsor.

As a matter of fact, her sister Claudette was a friend of mine. The last time I heard from her was when she moved to Florida.

Katherine and her husband were married a few years after me.  We celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary last November.

This was lovely family and Katherine was a lovely girl.  I see she became a nurse and she would have been good at it.

My prayers are with the family. It was nice knowing them.

    Dominato Family

I am so very sorry for your loss. There is a great emptiness left by Aunt Katherine’s passing.  Your mom was a remarkable woman, a wonderful Aunt and godmother.

You were all blessed with a loving and caring mother; treasure all your memories you have with her. Aunt Katherine is no longer in pain and she is with our loved ones in heaven. We can rest now because she will be watching over all of us.

I am certain that the strength and the love that you and your family share for each other and for Aunt Katherine will get you through this difficult time.  May that love honor her memory and cherish the time you had together.

All our love Albert and Patty Rolfe

They say that the stars in the sky,

Are the souls of the people that die,

and that we will meet them again,

    when we reach our destination.

I vividly remember the first time I met the incomparable Ms. D when Lisa invited a group of us over for a swim (in their backyard on Dougall). She was vibrant, funny, loud, and one of kind. As we grew older, she remained that kind person whom could make you feel welcome whenever you crossed paths with her. With her husband Mario by her side, they raised three children and led full lives. When Mark, Greg and Lisa grew into adults, you could hear the pride in their voices whenever Mr. & Ms. D spoke of them. When spouses and grandchildren were added to the mix, everything just seemed complete.
I truly feel fortunate to have know Ms. D through Lisa. The two of them unleashed on a room usually resulted in the rest of us doubled over in laughter.

I like to think that they’re off somewhere together causing mischief………

Mario and Family,   I am so saddened to hear of Cathy’s passing. She was always a kind, humorous, thoughtful lady.. I met her thru Lisa and it was my pleasure to know her. We had many laughs and tears together. I hope there’s a heaven.. if there is, I know she’s there with Lisa..Rest in peace, Cathy… Diane Piirto
