Keegan Robert Watts

November 22, 1990 - April 2, 2019

Funeral Details: Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. 103 John St., Barrie, Ontario

Today we say goodbye to Keegan.

I want to start by remembering Barney the purple dinosaur.

I do this because as a baby we watched hours upon hours of the lovable purple dinosaur and singing his song.  I love you, you love me.  Keegan you will always be loved and we know you will always love us.

Unfortunately, he has been taken from us far to soon.  We all know you’re at peace now, the demons have gone and the angels are singing, your strumming your guitar and singing your songs, writing your poems and reading your books.  Keep playing your video games and sharing your opinions.   Please keep your hair trimmed so you don’t have to constantly be blowing it off your eyes so you can read your books.

We know you are gone but you will never out of our thoughts and are hearts.  We will stand by you no matter where you are, and every time we see a counter full of dishes we will remember your desire to avoid washing them.

You were a loving son, brother and uncle, you have made an impact on all around you and because of you we are all blessed to have had you in are lives.

We shall say see you later bud, be at peace and thank you for the memories.

Kristopher Watts, Sarah Mckay, Deborah Grandy, John Watts and Sean Grandy would like to invite all to a celebration of Life in July.  We will provide more details when the time comes.  In the meantime, we would like anyone and everyone to share a story or picture of Keegan in the comments.

Keegan, we love you, be at peace.

Keegan…. We knew each other as children. We were never close, but friends at school. You always had a quick remark, a funny antidote….
You will be missed. Greatly. By all that knew you.

We have been friends so we we were 13 years old. You were one of my first friends when I started at Prince of Wales. I had the privilege of living across the street so we were able to hang out almost every day. Your family has become like my own. We stayed close through high school and I have so many memories I would need to write a book to have them all written out. After high school some of my favourite memories are of all the concerts we went to.

Thank you for being you. Thank you for being my rock through hard times and being one of my go to for my best moments. You will always be in my heart.

We grew up in central together, and had a lot of fun, as timr passed and years changed us our opinions began to differ, and we started to talk less and less. Never once did I expect this end for you, and my heart breaks to read the news.

I can’t imagine the pain you were going through that ended your story, but it must have been immense. I am glad you are at peace, no one should suffer the dark alone.

I now have two friends from my high school circle waiting for me beyond the other side. You made earth shine with your smile, but you will make heaven beautiful with your music, art and love.

May you and Aly have fun sitting in the corner making jokes and passing the time, like when the world seemed more innocent.

      Hi Melia,
A friend posted this link and I can’t say I knew Keegan, but I’m sorry for your loss. So he hung out with you and Graves in high school?
