So very sorry to hear of the passing of Kenlis. Please accept my deepest condolences during this difficult time. I will always remember what a wonderful friend he was to my parents Marion and Everett Cowan, the laughter they shared, the comfort of great company, and watching Doctor Zhivago. Those are the moments that stay tucked in our hearts forever. Wishing your family peace as you navigate the days ahead.

Kenlis was not only a wonderful cousin but also a great friend. We shared many very happy times together not only in England but also in Canada. His love of life and enthusiasm was infectious as was his sense of humour. I offer you dear Ellen and all members of his family my heartfelt condolences.

    With much love from Christopher.

Well, Kenlis, now you have joined the angels, we will carry you in our hearts instead of sharing laughter, stories, fun, good intentions and life. It was so absolutely fabulous that you have the insight and desire to visit Tisha in London recently, and all of us who were part of your visit with Matt, Chip and Lori so SO enjoyed you making it over to the Old Country. For me, stand-out memories include going wild with my cousins on the trampoline in the garden back in 1980, collecting a yacht you had just purchased and towed home together that visit too. Our ritual of international calls at Christmas in the good old days of telephonic communication, bringing together your parents (my grandparents) in Liphook and your family in Ontario will always remain a delightful memory of what unites family. With much love to all who remember you and miss you. Stephen

Kenlis was a regular visitor to our famiy home in North Wales from his boyhood when he came with his parents who were close friends of my Aunt Marjorie. In later years he and Tisha would come to stay with his own children and of course with Ellen. One special time was when he brought Mr and Mrs Jewell, the retired farming couple for whom he had worked when had first arrived in Canada. He was always such good company and we shall miss him very much. John and I send our thoughts and prayers to all the family.

Kenlis will be sorely missed. His wit never left him. He was my brother-in-law. He gave me one of his Albacore
sailing dinghies, which I repaired and sailed for a short time. Many parts were humorously labelled “Tuna”. I greatly enjoyed it while I could. Kenlis also enjoyed participating in church and singing in a quire. His antique
Singer was a joy to him. He had his own workshop designed and built. While living with Ellen, he worked hard
at making Maple Syrup. I guess he was multi-talented. Too bad I can’t see him anymore.
