Funeral Details: Private Family Farewell and Cremation with a Celebration of Life at a Later Date
Namkoong, Kevin: Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle with cancer on Wednesday November 24th, 2021.
Loving husband to Seung Shin Kim. The one and only father to Hyun Namkoong (Queenie Zhang). Kevin was warm-hearted, humorous, multi-talented, and filled with knowledge in many areas - his presence alone allowed building a strong bond between anyone he came across. Kevin will be forever missed - not only by his accomplishments, but because of many great attributes that made him truly unique and special to his family and friends.
A service in memory of Kevin will be announced at a later date. A Private Family Farewell and Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition York (2-15236 Yonge Street Aurora).

Posted on: Wednesday, December 1, 2021고모부 저 연수에요! 고모부 제가 2010년에 여행갔을때 잘해주셨던게 아직도 저한테 소중한 기억으로 남아있어요 🙂 그동안 투병하시느라 고생 너무 많으셨어요 하늘나라에서는 편히 쉬시길 바랄게요 편히 쉬시고 다음에 만났을때는 저희 더 많은 추억 만들어요 🙂

However, as soon as I heard the sorrowful news, I felt sorry and became sad. I know you are the person who will be missed by people around you. Rest in Peace.

현이이모예요. 믿어지지 않고 믿고 싶지 않은데 현이아빠가 하늘나라로 가셨네요.
슬프기만 해서 인사 말이 잘 생각나지 않아요.
1988년 현이아빠와 승신이 부부 사는 일본 집에 놀러 갔을 때 셋이 도쿄 긴자거리에 데려가 주었지요. 그 때 내가 와 여기가 긴자구나 했더니 현이아빠와 승신이가 기쁜 표정으로 웃던 생각이 나요. 긴자 갈 때 마다 생각날 거예요. 소니프라자도 많이 변해서 언젠가 일본에 현이네가 놀러오면 같이 가보고 싶었는데 말이죠. 아 그리고 현이아빠 일하던 소니본사 있는 시나가와도 역을 지날 때도 생각나고, 여기저기 현이네 생각나는 곳 너무 많아요.
일본에서나 또 한 번 간 토론토에서나 현이네 집에 언제 가도 내집처럼 편했던건 언제나 온화하고 친절한 현이아빠 덕분이었어요.
우리 가족 마음 속에 지금까지보다 더 크고 확실하게 있는 현이아빠 늘 생각할게요.
다시 만날 때까지 편안하고 즐겁게 지내고 계세요
