Suddenly, on June 2, “Papa loaded up his Ford F150 pickup truck with his saddle, puppies from long past, his Mother’s famous cookbook, baking utensils, maple syrup and hunting gear. He hooked up his Doral, put on his deer hunting jacket, hopped in and started his engine. Puppies were hanging out the window as he looked back, smiled and offered a final wave goodbye as he drove off to heaven.” (a farewell from his granddaughter, Brook).

He was loved beyond words and is missed beyond measure.

Friends and Family, from all chapters of the late Leon McKean’s life, are invited to join together to honour and celebrate a life well lived.

Please join us Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. for a Celebration of “All Things Leon” Avening Hall, 3401 County Road 42, Avening, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the Avening Hall, for the Muskoka Pioneer Power Association, in memoriam.
