Throughout his life Len was known for his generosity, his cheerful good humour, and his enormous love of life. He loved good jazz and good food, art, science, watercolour painting and photography. He once won a tribute to Tom Thomson contest at the Parry Sound Art Gallery, and took great delight in telling the story that concluded with the fact that he was the only person to have entered a painting in the contest.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at IOOF Heritage Place and Long-Term Care for their care and support.
Following cremation, his remains will rest at St. George's Anglican Church, Barrie, Memorial Garden.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
