Passed away peacefully with Nonie (nee Prendergast) his wife of 60 years by his side. Loving dad to Karen (Ed), Janine (Dennis), and Nikki. “Lenny” will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Jake, Ryan, Addi, and Max. He is survived by his brother John (Tessie).
Len was fortunate to remain close to his childhood friends (The MOMS) for over 70 years. Len started his career as a chartered accountant with Arthur Anderson before moving to Deloitte and retiring as Senior Partner specializing in forensic accounting.
His favourite place to spend time was with his family and friends at the cottage on Muskadasa Island in Muskoka.
At Len’s request, cremation has taken place. If desired, donations in his memory can be made to the Grove Park Home, Barrie, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

I’d like the memory of me
To be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow
Of smiles when the day is done.

Posted on: Tuesday, May 21, 2024I am so sorry to hear of Len’s passing. I was one of his younger partners in the CA firm Harbinson Glover & Co. which later merged with Deloitte. We all learned a lot practicing with Len. He knew how to work hard, play hard and mentor the younger staff in the firm. My fondest memory of Len was him smiling in his office enjoying every day. Not taking life too seriously.
