Linda May Piche-Durance

September 1, 1948 - March 6, 2020

Funeral Details: July 20, 2020 @ 1 pm Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery

Linda May passed away on March 6, 2020, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Mom is survived by her children Darlene (Zbigniew) Rudy, Paul (Kelly) Bernier and Christina Findlay.  Gramma also leaves behind her grandchildren Kevin (Jennifer) Rudy, Andrew (Lindsay) Rudy, Sophie Bernier and Sloane Brooks as well as 2 great-grandchildren Greyson and Brooklynn Rudy.  Linda will also be missed by her sisters Josephine Darling and Viola Dowdle.

 

Mom was born September 1, 1948 to Herbert and Mary Greenwood who predeceased her. She is also predeceased by her sister’s Teresa Huffman, Florence Greenwood and brother Edward Greenwood.

 

Mom was the life of the party her laughter and sense of humor was contagious.  She will be sincerely missed by all and will live forever in our hearts.

 

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring.

 

My mom loved her cats and gave me the task, for when the time came, that instead of everyone sending flowers etc. That you could donate to a cat rescue of my choosing. So, I have chosen Street Cats Rescue here in Barrie area. They are reputable and do great work. So, if you would like to send flowers, please donate instead. They give tax receipts too, as they are a registered charity.

    To Darlene, Paul and Chrissy,
    The passing of a parent is always difficult and painful….you will always have her in your hearts.
    No matter our age she will always be your mom, and you her babies.
    I know she loved you all with everything she had.
    I wish your mom great peace and joy on her next adventure.

    I love you all.Linda and I had some wonderful times from Paul using the vacuum to milk the bag of milk (cow) too making clothing for Chrissy and Tammy to our breakfast together and HP sauce to us both working together.,I am so glad she not in pain anymore Love you all xo
