Passed peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Sat. June 15, 2019 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late James Rodgers. Dear mother of Fred (Roslyn), Violet (Merril) and late James Jr. Loving grandmother of Nicole (Mark), Natalie (Ryan), Melissa, Krista (Ted), Chandra (Collin), Kyle, Michael (Kim), Danielle and great grandmother of Elizabeth, Sarah, Emily, Skyler, Nikohlas, Kya, Maranda, Benjamin, Alexander, Gemma, Arianna and Jacob. She will be dearly missed by sister Betty (Roy) and by her nieces and nephews as well as other family members and friends at Collier Place, especially Margaret Nichols. Many, many thanks to the doctors and staff of RVH Cancer Centre and a special thank you to Dr. Christiaan Stevens and Radiation RN, Donna, for their kind compassionate care through her lengthy illness.

As per her wishes cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 54 St. Paul’s Crescent, Barrie on Tuesday June 18 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
