THORNE Margaret L. “Jill” nee Gordon April 25, 1922-December 11, 2015 passed away peacefully in the Collingwood Hospital. We will all miss “Mum” to sons Michael (Joan) and Greg (Barb), “Nan” to grandchildren Kim, Rob, Mandy, Mark and Jeff, and “Great Nan” to great grandchildren Hannah, Tyler, Taylor, Julia, Ella, Carson and Logan. Jill loved life and in particular the Hamilton Ti-Cats as well as her own cats. She will be missed by family and friends.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life for “Jill” in the Spring.
Memorial donations to the Ontario Humane Society www.ontariospca.ca would be appreciated by the family.

Posted on: Thursday, December 17, 2015I met Jill a few years back when I wrote her “profile” for our Park Place newsletter. What an interesting lady she was! She spoke lovingly about her family and had a keen interest in all of the members of her Family Tree relating stories that were over 100 years old. I enjoyed the few hours I spent with this vibrant, “young” senior and pray that she will rest in peace.
