Funeral Details: A private family interment will be held for Peggy

On Sunday, February 16th, 2025 at home in Bradford Ontario, surrounded by loved ones, Margaret Peggy Lee Michaud (nee Clive) passed away in her 75th year after a courageous 4 1/2 year battle with cancer. Peggy is survived by her loving and devoted husband Earl, her adoring and loving children, Bryan (Sabrina), Michelle (Kevin), Michael (Tracy), Lori (Mark) and her 12 cherished grandchildren Alex, Rachelle, Adam (Maddie), Autumn, Venessa (predeceased), Aspen, Kaden, Robyn, Mikaela, Konor, Aiden, and Lio. She is reunited with her parents Charles, Elsie, her brother Colin, and her granddaughter Venessa. Peggy loved spending time with family and shared such a special and unique bond with every one of her family members and they all will miss her beyond words.

Peggy was extremely humble, brave, kind-hearted, fun, generous and would make friends wherever she went. Some of those special relationships began in her teenage years and lasted a lifetime. All of her friendships were cherished and held so close to her heart, she was an amazing friend to many.

Peggy was an instrumental and dearly loved part of the group that originally founded The Probus Club #1 of Bradford. Over the past 15 years, she helped plan and create some amazing events and in the process she built more wonderful friendships and made lasting memories.

Peggy will be sorely missed and loved forever by everyone who was lucky enough to have her in their lives.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre are greatly appreciated.

A private family interment for Peggy will take place at Holy Martyrs of Japan Catholic Cemetery, Bradford.

I was very saddened to read of the passing of Peggy. My heartfelt condolences go out to all her family and friends. I know she will be sadly missed. I first met Peggy in the early 1970’s when she and my sister were working at Grand and Toy Yorkdale. She was always kind, with a warm and welcoming smile. Years passed, and everyone moved on with their lives, and we lost touch. About two decades later, we met by chance in a grocery store in Bradford, and spent over an hour catching up, only to realize we lived just a short distance apart. It was always nice to see Peggy around town and to spend a few minutes catching up on the latest news in our lives. I will miss our chance meetings and hope all the happy memories she shared with so many, will help to ease the sadness.

My deepest condolences to Earl and family. I met Peggy as a new Probus member three years ago. We were at an appetizer party and she took me under her arm to get to know me and introduce me to everyone. Peggy was warm, vivacious, energetic and a lot of fun. I will miss her, as will many. May your happy memories sustain you.

Earl, you and your family are in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. Peggy was such an amazing person. She was always kind hearted, generous and fun-loving and is missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Someone shared this recently “ Grief never ends, but it changes. It is a passage not a place to stay. It is not a sign of weakness or a lack of faith – it is the price of love.” Peggy was loved!
In time, we hope that happy memories will replace the sorrow you now feel.
    Our deepest condolences.
