My deepest condolences ♥️ I have so many fond memories of Marilyn from Our Lady of Hope. First as the grade 6 teacher, then core teacher, then librarian. She was incredible in every role, but my favourite memories are of her martini bag, her driving fast in her little car, her euchre skills and her incredibly sown costumes for the plays. I valued her wisdom & advice. She was a mentor to me and she will be greatly missed. Sending healing love and comfort to the entire family.

As a former student of Our Lady of Hope in the early 2000’s and now a Special Education teacher for the YCDSB, I remember the joy that she had throughout the school environment even as a young student. It is beyond heart-breaking to hear about her passing. May she rest in eternal peace and may God bless all of her family and friends during this difficult time.

Our sincere condolences to Leslie and the entire family. I have wonderful memories of hosting Leslie & Marilyn’s 50th Wedding Anniversary at Burleigh Falls Inn, and for my Husband the Brethour family will always be remembered fondly from their cabin on Stoney Lake, as their families shared a common love for Butcher’s Bay and the lake beyond . May Marilyn rest in peace, our thoughts and our prayers are with you all.
    Sincerely; Jennifer & Peter Craig

Uncle Leslie, Michael, Yolanda and families.
I always looked forward to your visits whenever you passed through Winnipeg. Marilyn was always ready to share a laugh and a glass
Of wine. She had fantastic stories to share of Mike and Yolanda and grandchildren who I feel I know. She made me feel we could pick up on our conversations from our last visit and carry on.
I am sending hugs and strength as you heal as a family.
