Christine and family, no words will ease the sadness you feel now. You are surrounded by loving family and friends who will share their favorite moments and memories they had with your Mum.  Like most people, if they couldn’t live life in the way they were accustomed – free of sickness, pain and able to do the things they have always done, they would sooner take the journey, and not feel like they are a burden.  She has now joined your Dad who was there to welcome her home again to him.  Find some comfort in knowing they are together again.  Thinking of you all at this sad time.

My sincerest condolences to  Laurence and Sara, Christine and John and the grandchildren on the death of your mother. She was an amazing woman who I got to know through our volunteer work at the hospital. She was always so thoughtful of others. I had the privilege of visiting her in palliative care the week she was admitted as I was ministering as a chaplain that week. I felt the presence of a most loving family when I witnessed you at her bedside the day she died.
    May Marion rest in peace

    Sincerely

    Carol O’Kane
