Irene was a fabulous nurse who was kind and compassionate. She was a great friend with a tremendous sense of humour. I still remember the boxes of chocolates with the one bite gone from the ones she didn’t like LOL. But most of all I treasured our days on 3A and then later on 3NC. Oh an always such a great sense of fashion! Irene will be missed by many!

Irene (and the entire Morrow family) were my family’s neighbours, for 45 years, at which point Irene decided it was time to move. As a small boy, I remember her screaming at me to stop making a short-cut path across her grass to get to the park (when a public pathway was just 10 feet away) and her pride for her property always remained, much to the benefit of the neighbourhood. I will remember her as an independent women with strong opinions which (i heard) were often shared with bad drivers, lol, and for being a great supportive friend to my step-mother, Bev. For decades, she was a part of golfer’s wife crowd which produced many stories and found memories for the gang.
I send Shelley, Julinda and Rebecca my deepest condolences. Shawn
