Mark Anthony Trollope

April 16, 1961 - September 1, 2022

Funeral Details: Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Community Centre (1007 Raccoon Rd, Gravenhurst) from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Passed away peacefully in his 62 year, on September 1, 2022, after a long battle with COPD and Lung Cancer at the Mariposa House Hospice Orillia, Ontario.  Mark was born on April 16, 1961 in Scarborough, Ontario to Audrey and the late Herbert and Trollope.  Beloved husband of Margaret (nee MacGregor).  Loving father of Aaron (Stephanie), Shanna (Robert), Robert (Priya), Kathleen (Joshua), and Victoria (Jorden).  Dear popa of Mathieu, Emily, Mika, Jensen, Hazel.  Brother of Andrew, Earl (Linda), Theressa and the late Brian.  Marked worked as a chef in many different restaurants throughout the Barrie area until he got sick in 2019.  Mark then retired in Gravenhurst, Ontario, where you could find him swimming, fishing or driving around in the golf cart around the park.  Mark was a devoted husband, son, father, Popa and will be missed by many family, friends, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Community Centre at 1007 Racoon Rd., Gravenhurst, on October 1, 2022 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.  In Memory of Mark, memorial contributions are welcome for Sick Kids or Mariposa House Hospice (Orillia).

    Condolences to you Margaret family and friends. We met Mark here in Beaver Ridge and he fastly became a great friend to Dan and I . So glad our paths met in life he will be truly missed but never gotten RIP our dear friend

    Margaret and family. I am so sad to know that Mark has left you. We had so many good times together and although it’s been years since, I will hold those memories of him dear and laugh at many.
