It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of Mark Woolard announce the passing of their beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend after a brief illness on June 30, 2026, at the age of 60 years.

Beloved son of Ann and the late Ronald.  Cherished husband of Teresa for 33 wonderful years.  Loving father of Kyle (Ali), and Breanna (Oliver).  Dear brother of Matthew (Heidi).  Mark will also be deeply missed by his extended family, including his father-in-law, Paul, and brother-in-law, Gene.

Mark was an optimistic and positive person who approached life with enthusiasm.  A devoted family man, he was selfless, generous, hardworking, and always willing to give of himself.  He was a visionary with a creative spirit and enjoyed painting.  Gifted with his hands, Mark could fix just about anything that needed attention around the home.

Energetic, resourceful, and determined, Mark was endlessly supportive of those he loved while also embracing his own passions.  He enjoyed taking risks, seeking out new adventures, and trying new things.  He left a positive impression on everyone he met, and one of his greatest gifts was that he never had anything negative to say about anyone.  Mark lived life to the fullest, bringing colour and joy wherever he went.  To his family, he was their Superman, their absolute rock, and the steady foundation on which they could always depend.

A Celebration of Mark's Life will take place on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Barrie Country Club (635 St Vincent St N, Barrie, ON).  Light refreshments available.

In memory of Mark, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
