It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Marsha Larraine Galbraith on August 13, 2024, at Hospice Simcoe, surrounded by love.
Marsha was the beloved wife of David Meadows and a devoted mother to her son Cameron. She was a loving stepmother to Tyler (Jess) and Caitlin (Rob) and a doting Grandma Marsha to Carmen, Cayden, Beaux, and Millie. She was a cherished sister to Linda (Phil), a dear aunt to Leanne, and a proud great-aunt to Elisabeth and Lauren. Marsha also had a special place in her heart for her fur baby, Copper. She will be deeply missed by many extended family and friends.
A woman of immense talent and compassion, Marsha was deeply musical, with a beautiful singing voice and a skillful hand on the guitar. Her laughter was infectious, bringing joy to all who knew her. Marsha dedicated over 40 years of her life as a registered nurse in pediatrics and day surgery, where her caring nature and love for helping others left an indelible mark on countless lives.
Marsha will be remembered for her warmth, her music, and the deep love she had for her family and friends. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers donations in Marsha’s memory may be made to RVH cancer centre www.rvh.on.ca/areas-of-care/cancer-program , Hospice Simcoe www.hospicesimcoe.ca or Mackenzie Health Pediatrics’ department. www.mackenziehealth.ca/programs-services/mother-and-baby-care/pediatrics

Posted on: Thursday, August 22, 2024David and Cameron. Please accept our condolences for your loss of Marsha. May the memories of the good times overshadow the feelings of grief you have. I only met Aunt Marsha once; and she was very welcoming and receptive when my wife and met our family for the first time. She was truly an exceptional person and it shows from the remarks from her peers. Take care.
All the best.
